Supervisorsplay various roles in conjunction with the human resource department.One role is to guide in the selection criteria of their employees.Supervisors understand the skills they require and, therefore,guiding in the selection will lead to the right choice for the job.Secondly, they implement policies regarding employee conduct. Theyknow how to evaluate poor and good performance. Lastly, to encourageproduction, they offer incentives like a day off for a job well done.
