Mythoughts on the higher diagnoses in women

Ithink that diagnoses are correct, and it is even evident from ourdaily activities that women appear to be more anxious. The higherdiagnoses of anxiety in women are related to numerous factors.

Whyare women more prone to anxiety?

Frommy point of view, the higher diagnoses of anxiety in women are linkedto the kind of lifestyle that they conduct. For instance, lack ofphysical exercise among most women is one major factor that causesanxiety. To fight anxiety, they are supposed to have physicalexercise at least four times in a week that most of them don’t.Also, most of the women do not take whole food, and they entirelydepend on the junk. I think that most of them do not have a healthydiet, and this commonly leads to the higher anxiety. I also have thenotion that it is a result of the interconnection of the hormonalfluctuations, their upbringing and the brain chemistry. Typically, most women feel that they are responsible for the happiness of otherpeople such as their family, and this leads to anxiety (Sutton,et al. 2005).

Accordingto Christopher, women suffer most from the post-traumatic stressdisorders that are a result of anxiety. This is because the women areprimarily affected by traumatic experiences such as images memories, flashbacks and nightmare. Mostly, they even tend to extend the impacttime in their lives compared to men (Christopher, et al. 2007).

CausalFactors

Someof the causal factors that cause the women to be more anxious thanthe men include physical exercise whereby most men will engagethemselves in keeping their bodies fit compared to the women.Additionally, research shows that the uptake of caffeine alsoincreases the level of anxiety that we are exposed to. According tothe same research, the women are more turned on when they consumecaffeine, and they appear to be more anxious (Thayer,et al. 1994).

Inregard to Christopher, women experience more sexual and physicaltrauma compared to the men. Approximately 69% of the women sufferphysical maltreatment from their partners in the course of theirlife. This condition plays a crucial part in making the women to bemore anxious than men (Christopher, et al. 2007).

Typically, our text’s author says that women are more prone to anxiety thanthe men. It appears to me that it is correct due to some of thefactors that have been discussed above.
